Wo? KÄO Day Care Centres MALEVA and PAE for Adults  - 4 vacancies

Details: KÄO centre for adults has two centers in different parts of the city which offer services for people living with mental and multiple disabilities. 2 volunteers will be in both centers. Volunteers will be assisting teachers during various activities and workshops done together with the clients. Volunteer has the opportunity to offer her/his own activities for the clients

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Volunteer should be motivated to work with people with severe disabilities. It would be good if she/he has previous experiences in the field but it is not determining factor in the application process. Volunteer should have sense of self initiative, be proactive and good with stressful situations and routine activities. Basic English is required.

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Volunteer should be respectful towards clients and take into account their individual characteristics. Open mind, tolerance, and wish to learn and develop are essential. Volunteer should be independent and flexible. It is crucial that volunteer has the courage to ask assistance and help if she/he needs it.

Wo:Tallinna Muumipere Creche 

Wann:9 months, starting September 2017 until June 2018

Details: Work in a kindergarden with small children in the age 1,5 - 3

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Young person with strong desire to work with small children, creative, pro-active and communicative. Previous experience in working with kids (babysitting, practice, etc..) is a bonus. Basic English is required.

Wo:Tallinna Mutionu Kindergarten

Wann:9 months, starting September 2017 until June 2018

Details: Work in a kindergarden with small children in the age of 2 - 5

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Young person with strong desire to work with small children, creative, pro-active and communicative. Previous experience in working with kids (babysitting, practice, etc..) is a bonus. Basic English is required.

Wo: Tallinna Kiikhobu Kindergarten

Wann:9 months long service, starting September 2017 until June 2018

Details: Kiikhobu kindergarten has over 250 children in the age of 2 – 6. Volunteer works with children who are from 4 to 6 years old. Volunteer will assist teacher in her daily activities with the children

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Volunteer is expected to be polite and caring, they should understand that even if volunteer do not perceive her/himself as such, the children will see them as a role model. Volunteer should be social and ready to communicate with children even without knowing local language in this sense knowing English or Estonian is an asset.

Wo:Tallinna Meelespea Kindergarten - 2 vacancies

Wann:12 months long service, starting September 2017 until September 2018

Details: Meelespea kindergarten has hosted volunteers since 2011. Volunteers are big help to the teachers and primarily role models for the children. Volunteer works with children who are from 4 to 6 years old. Volunteer will assist teacher in her daily activities with the children

Wo:Tallinna Kadaka Basic School

Wann:9 months long service, starting September 2017 until June 2018

Details: Tallinn Kadaka Basic School is the primary school, working on a simplified state curriculum and a member of the network of special schools for children with special needs.The school's mission: to educate, train, develop, rehabilitate and correct the students of the school, preparing them for independent living. At school there are about 146 pupils and 40 teachers. Tallinn Kadaka Basic School is school with Russian studying language. Volunteer will assist teacher in the class hence it is requierment that volunteer is motivated to learn Russian language.

Preferred profile of the volunteer: Volunteer who is ready to work with youth with special needs, who is motivated to be part of the school community and take up tasks offered to her/him. Good communication skills are an asset and wish to contribute to the children development. English is requirement plus motivation for learning Russian

Wo:Circus Studio Folie

Wann:10 months long service, starting September 2017 until July 2018

Details: Circus studio Folie is one the first circus schools in Estonia that initiated new circus workshops. Folie is offering aerial acrobatics, juggling, clowning and acrobatics workshops to youth in the age of 7 – 18. Volunteer will assist workshop leaders during the activities, creates warm up exercises for children and can run her/his own workshops

Preferred profile of the volunteer: any kind of previous contact with various circus skill – juggling, monocycle, stage decoration, acrobatics - or experience in performing arts is an asset but not decisive during the application process. Basic English skills are needed.
